Children and Teens

Common features in all our tourism and language experiences.

All our programmes start on Monday and finish on Sunday. (6 nights, 7 days) except our Summer Camp programme.
Las clases son pequeñas, con un máximo de 12 alumnos, para asegurar una atención personalizada y favorecer la participación de todos.

No se necesita un nivel mínimo de español para participar en nuestros programas.
Se realizará un examen de nivel antes de comenzar dichos programas.
Nuestra metodología tiene un enfoque comunicativo.
Nuestros dinámicos profesores animan a los alumnos a participar en role - plays y debates potenciando la confianza necesaria para desarrollar habilidades comunicativas.
Existe la posibilidad de recibir solo clases o de contratar alojamiento y/o actividades. (Excepto en la experiencia Summer Camps). Si se decide participar en las actividades organizadas por el centro, el programa se verá enriquecido por el conocimiento de la cultura, costumbres y la gente del país y ello completará el programa lingüístico convirtiéndolo en una experiencia mucho más completa. Con ese propósito, ofrecemos un atractivo programa de actividades, visitas y excursiones.
La escuela facilitará información sobre actividades culturales y de ocio en la zona incluido en el precio. Se facilitará una tarjeta a cada estudiante con descuentos en varios establecimientos (gimnasio, librerías y tiendas de todo tipo)
The fee of enrolment is 40€ each student and it includes all the material and taxes.
When the programme ends, students receive an attendance and achievement certificate.
Option to prepare DELE exams.

Those students who want to write the exams organised by Instituto Cervantes can do it starting their formation two weeks before the official exam (See exam dates and terms attached).

Something that makes us unique in each programme is that at least once a week, our students do some of the activities with Spanish students the same age which guarantees a total linguistic immersion.

Introduction

This programme is designed for children and teenagers from 9 to 17 years old.
The groups are formed by age. From 9 to 13 and from 14 to 17.
It combines lessons, an attractive programme of activities, visits and
excursions. All of them are thought to keep students in contact with the
knowledge of the Spanish culture and our lifestyle. (All included in the
price, except the registration and the tickets of monuments).

Content

20 Spanish lessons (50 minutes periods, maximum 12 students)
Accommodation:

Youth Hostel for composed groups and from 10 students.
With local families for students who come as individuals.

Programa semanal

Day 1: Sunday

Arrival in Madrid. Students are picked up and driven from Madrid to Villacarrillo by bus. (If they arrive early, our welcome party takes place in the afternoon and the Spanish lessons start on day 2 Monday in the morning).

Day 2: Monday

Welcome party during the morning. Lunch and sport activities with an instructor. Cultural tour around Villacarrillo.

Day 3: Tuesday

Spanish lessons from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

From 12 p.m. to 14:30 p.m. if the course takes place in summer activities in the swimming pool. In case it is in winter, theatre, flamenco or culture workshops.

From 14:30p.m. to 15:30p.m. Lunch

From 15:30p.m. to 17:00p.m. Break

From 17:00p.m. to 19:00p.m. Visit to an olive oil factory. After the visit, afternoon snack.

Sport activities with Spanish children.

Dinner

Day 4: Wednesday

Excursion to the countryside. The day is spent in a cottage in Cazorla Natural Park. Spanish lessons and activities continue but they take place in this natural landscape. Students spend all day in the countryside. They come back to Villacarrillo in the evening for dinner.

Day 5: Thursday

Spanish lessons from 9 a.m. to 12p.m. After learning Spanish, trip to Úbeda (Heritage of Humanity city). Visit to Tito Pottery and workshop there. During this day students have a packed lunch in Úbeda.

When they come back in the evening, dinner takes place in Villacarrillo.

Day 6: Friday

Spanish lessons from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

From 12p.m. to 14:30p.m. In summer, activities in the swimming pool. In winter, cooking workshop, flamenco dancing or visit to a museum.

From 14:30p.m. to 15:30p.m. Lunch

From 15:30p.m. to 17:00p.m. Break

From 17:00p.m. to 19:00p.m. Gymkhana around the town and afternoon snack.

From 19:30p.m. to 21:30p.m. Sport Championship contest with Spanish children and after that, tapas tour in the most typical bars of Villacarrillo, enjoying the best gastronomy.

This day dinner is not necessary because of the tapas tour. However, when they arrive at home, they can have some fruit, yoghurt or milk

Day 7: Saturday

Trip and visit to Granada all day.
Packed lunch there and return to Villacarrillo in the evening for dinner.

Day 8: Sunday

They leave the town early. Travelling to Madrid, they can visit (if there is enough time) some popular monuments and typical places before going to the airport. If the flight is in the afternoon, they can visit Retiro´s Park and the Royal Palace for example although there are lots of different options and you can decide the most interesting for the students.

In this itinerary we include the afternoon snack every day. (Some days sandwich and juice, other days milk and typical cakes from our area).
Activities: All of them included in the programme are included in the price, except tickets to visit monuments.
Transfer from and to the airport for groups from 12 students.
Some activities can vary according to availability, season or students´ preferences.
